Junior Researcher for Generative Artificial Intelligence (m/f/x)
Tasks:
- Investigation of data protection risks in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using real communication and health data sets.
- Analysing and comparing modern retrieval and prompting methods for identifying sensitive information.
- Development and evaluation of privacy protection mechanisms for generative AI models.
- Fine-tuning and benchmarking of privacy-sensitive language models in comparison to current research.
- Documentation and presentation of results at scientific conferences and in scientific journals
- Participation in the supervision of student projects and scientific work on the MultiMediaTechnology degree programme
Profile:
- A degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline (Master/Diploma)
- Sound practical experience in the field of Generative AI or Natural Language Processing
- Sound experience with Python
- Theoretical and applied understanding of statistics and ML models (transformers, LLMs)
- Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and interest in research
