FH Salzburg employs 400 people across its Urstein, Kuchl, Uniklinikum Salzburg and Schwarzach campuses. There are 3200 students who have a choice of 18 bachelor and 12 master programmes across four faculties to study in – Engineering; Business and Social Sciences; Design, Media and Arts; and Health Studies.

For the field of Computer Animation at the Department of Creative Technologies, we are looking for a Lecturer Computer Animation (f/m/x)

Tasks:

  • Teaching in the field of computer animation up to 12 semester hours per week
  • Supporting the head of department in the coordination and development of courses and scientific preparation of teaching content for the department
  • Support and preparation of course-specific events (e.g. events, lectures or conferences)
  • Supervision of student projects and academic work
  • Administrative and organizational tasks such as license management
  • Participation in the continuing education program in the field of university didactics

Profile:

  • Specialized university degree in the field of computer animation (Master/Magister/Dipl. Ing.)
  • Very good knowledge of Maya, Unreal or Houdini, Adobe CC Suite
  • Knowledge of Substance and Z-Brush an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in the production of commercial animations or video games (international projects an advantage)
  • Teaching experience an advantage
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • High willingness to learn and ability to work in a team as well as flexibility

Contract length: 2 years
Salary: from € 52.129,- total gross annual salary for 40 hours per week
