Lectureship Artificial Intelligence for Games

The FH Salzburg employs 400 staff members at its four campuses: Campus Urstein, Campus Kuchl, Campus Uniklinikum Salzburg, and Campus Schwarzach. In 18 bachelor's and 12 master's degree programs, 3,200 students are trained in the fields of engineering, social and economic sciences, design, media & art, as well as health sciences.

For part-time teaching positions in the Department of Creative Technologies in the MultiMediaTechnology program, we are announcing an external teaching assignment for the winter semester 2024/25.

Lectureship Artificial Intelligence for Games 
(1,5 weekly semester hour / Type: Lecture with exercise) 

The course is offered in the 3rd semester of the MultiMediaTechnology Master's degree program and is an introduction to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for games with a strong practical focus. 

 

Content

The content includes topics such as: AI for procedural content generation, neural rendering, computer graphics effects and AI, game analytics, dynamic player experience modeling. Depending on the applicant profile, content can be deepened in the course.  
The language of instruction is English. 

Profile

We are looking for applicants (m/f/x) with extensive practical experience in the use and implementation of AI for Game. Formal requirements are a degree and teaching experience at a university. However, this can be compensated by relevant professional experience. 
 

Conditions

The employment will be in the form of a freelance contract (§ 4 Para. 2 ASVG). Ex-ternal lecturers are employed under the following conditions:
• Employment is limited to a maximum of 6 semester hours per week.
• External lecturers must have verifiable other employment subject to full social insur-ance.

1 semester hour = 13 teaching units of 45 minutes each

Teaching days: Monday to Friday
